Role
Research and book flights, transportation, and hotel accommodations for colleagues and business partners domestically and internationally and provide travelers with directions and destination information.
Assist event managers in organizing upcoming events for various groups by arranging hotel reservations, issuing airline tickets, arranging transfers and dinners.
Maintain and create profiles, data, reports, and KPIs in our travel tool and travel management files for reporting purposes
Monitor and facilitate the use of corporate air travel credit cards, frequent flyer programs, and other relevant rewards and loyalty programs.
Negotiate rates, travel deals and contracts with hotels globally
Maintain a good working relationship with travel service providers and vendors.
Work closely with card payment accounting department to ensure effective closing and reporting procedures
Assist in the implementation of new business travel procedures and projects, and ensure compliance with travel policies.
Requirements
At least three years of professional experience in the travel or business travel industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
Experience with online booking systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers, colleagues, service providers
Must be able to assume a high level of responsibility while fostering teamwork
